The replacement twin-plug 3.0L flat-six is equipped with PMO carburetors as well as twin MSD ignition boxes and coils and mated to a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The stripped interior features a roll cage along with a single Sparco racing seat, a Willans six-point harness, a JWest Engineering shifter, and AutoMeter instrumentation. Further equipment includes a TraqMate data acquisition system, a Phoenix fire-suppression system, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, 935-style front suspension, adjustable coilovers, monoball suspension bushings, later-model four-wheel disc brakes, and 16″ BBS modular wheels.
